Ed was husband to Audrey and dad to 4 girls, Carol, Ann, Christine & Denise. His life long passion and love after his family, was military and brass band music. He played in bands for many years before ill health forced him to give up but he continued to follow and enjoy listening and watching them. For as long as the family can remeber he supported the RNLI by donations or buying through the various shops he would visit. Living by the sea meant always being aware of their continuing and often dangerous rescues and need for financial support. Audrey sadly passed away in October 2014she endured pain through most of her life but never wavered in her love a support of her girls, she was able to enjoy great grandchildren that Edward didn't live to see and most especially spend a wonderful 80th birthday with her girls, grandchildren and great grandchildren. They would both be proud and happy to know we keep their committment to the RNLI by giving donations when we are able. Thankyou to all those who give to the RNLI in memory of our special and forever present Mum and dad.
